Prince Miles isn't your typical prince. The prince of Nearaway Far isn't dashing or flashy, but, rather, possesses qualities that come from a huge and caring heart. When he decides it is time to find a princess to share his life with, he meets maidens that are rich, beautiful and powerful, but who lack a heart as kind as his. When a sweet young lady named Maxine helps him in his hour of need, he finally finds his true love. The two share their lives knowing that the key to happily ever after lies in sharing, love and compassion for others. Author Information

Laura Peisner is a professional artist and educator. For over 20 years she has developed and taught art education for typical children as well as children with special needs. When not painting or sculpting in her home studio, Laura can be found teaching at the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs. Her passion for creating, and love for children come together seamlessly here, in The Hopeful Prince. Laura has two amazing daughters and encourages them, and children of all ages to follow their dreams. Page Jackson is an award-winning lyricist, songwriter and musician with 14 albums to his credit. Influenced by such authors as Shel Silverstein, Sandra Boynton and Dr. Seuss, Jackson has a reputation as a musical, rhythmic storyteller. As such, he always looks for universal truths-and strives to tell stories which we can all relate. The Hopeful Prince clearly proves to be one of these stories. Page has 28 years of experience teaching students having moderate to severe disabilities. Having taught a diverse, inner-city Schools of San Antonio, Texas; the Bay Area; and Los Angeles, Page has developed the conviction that we are all one family.
