OverviewAfter a 100-year journey and 11.7 light years The Honestus Society reached the planets in the Tau Ceti star system. Rama's 178-member team arrived to find an orbiting space station with a space elevator descending down to the planet, everyone wondering if the occupants would be friendly. The Krymian's had been observing Earth and its inhabitants for thousands of years with the help of their mind sharing technology and had secretly placed one of their own on the voyage. They knew the dangers the religious and power-hungry earthlings posed. A planetary council meeting including all four of Krymia's sentient races convened to vote on the plight of Rama's colony. After being rejected, the team was sent to a moon around another planet in the system for further evaluation. While there, the colonists built a moon base similar to the trial one they created on Earth's moon. They built six glass domes for horticulture, aquaculture, hydroponics, fitness and and their evening meal and entertainment, the lively Polynesian lounge. Rama knew he needed to up the ante and proposed a mind sharing arrangement to some of his team members to show the Sacatchun's their true intentions. Rama and five women accepted the mind sharing jewel on their foreheads, knowing the Sacatchun race thrived on human drama and sex by sharing YouTube like channels via the jewel. Myra, a Muslim and the team's social scientist, rejected the proposal by the Krymian's to mind share and began advocating that the team was losing its humanity by catering to the Sacatchun's decadence. While in their purgatory, Bernadette, their sexy synthetic biologist continued her sexual revolution discouraging monogamous relationships and promoting a promiscuous evening ritual. Nubia, their exotic Egyptian archeologist who they recruited to chronicle their journey with timeless hieroglyphics happened to be a princess and began planning her own city by coercing the men to join her group, Bernadette style. Consequently, the rift between Myra's Muslim followers and the rest of the team expanded and she moved her team up to the starship that was orbiting the moon base. The colony was breaking up and Rama threatened all the races on Krymia that he would take his team back to Earth, knowing there was some dissent among the four races and at least two of the races wanted them to stay. A second Planetary Council meeting convened and Rama's team was accepted to occupy an enormous domed stadium that the more levelheaded Krytatchun's built for them for yet another trial period. Myra began preaching her Muslim religion to her break away group that was not accepted to occupy the stadium and left behind, exiled on the moon base. In order to improve their chances of being accepted by the Planetary Council, Rama placed listening devices on the Krymian's cell phones who were mind sharing to listen in on their conversations and get a feel for what the Krymian's social criteria was. Unfortunately, they got caught and subsequently rejected by the planetary council and directed to go back to Earth. Just before they got caught spying, they were given an aerial tour of the planet, and Novia, their Brazilian ecologist noticed a color change from bright orange to pale yellow in the tiny flying Sabakins at the north pole. The Sabakins concentrated deuterium and tritium in the hydrogen/helium atmosphere for the nuclear reactors the Krymian's used to maintain the separate atmospheric zones. She predicted the planet only had weeks until a catastrophic die-off. Bernadette and Li-na fired up their CRISPR's and attached a radiation resistant Earth based cell wall they brought with them to help protect the dying Sabakins, which averted the catastrophe. Rama's team, now in good graces, were allowed to remain in their gorgeous domed stadium, but Myra's defiant Muslim community was exiled on the moon.
