Demetre Balaktsis emigrated to Canada as a child and learned English by reciting lines from Sesame Street, Electric Company, and his favourite children's books. As a public-school teacher, he kept his students engaged by telling them stories-modern day parables that spoke to Christian values with a dramatic flair. After performing several of his stories on stage, Demetre devotes himself to bringing the same level of energy and passion on to every page of his books to entertain and inspire every reader. As a child, Kenn White spent countless hours with pencil crayons and pens, imagining new characters from the books he read. So, he became an illustrator and graphic designer graduating from a recognized applied arts college. Kenn opened an advertising studio, and later taught at his alma mater as a tenured teacher. After decades of success as a graphic designer, cartoonist, illustrator and caricature artist, Kenn returns to his first love: drawing scenes from his imagination to help kids explore their own.
