Rebecca Emery's book, The History of God's World, is more than a book for children. I delighted and worshipped as I read it. Children, and the caregivers who read to them, will find it enjoyable, clear, and very helpful to the mind and the heart - no matter its size. The History of God's World is well-done, visually and verbally. It is a terrific supporting tool for those bringing light to children. Although Rebecca was in church from an early age, she did not know Christ as Savior until she was twenty-five. Since then, she has enjoyed the privilege of sitting under the teaching of many beloved pastors and teachers. Rebecca has worked with all ages, but especially enjoys working with kindergartners. She believes they have the ability to understand much more than they are generally offered. During Rebecca's teaching career at a Christian school, she found the children eager to learn about their Heavenly Father when it was presented to them in simple terms and with the passion of a true believer. It is her hope that this book will help many young children gain a clear understanding of God's great love for them and His desire to take care of them. Although The History of God's World is a book for all ages, Rebecca recommends a passionate oral reading of one chapter at a time for younger children, followed by questions from both the reader and the child.
