He is the author of Inflected Language: Toward a Hermeneutics of Nearness: Heidegger, Levinas, Stevens, Celan and coeditor, with Seamus Deane, of Future Crossings: Literature between Philosophy and Cultural Studies, also published by Northwestern University Press.
