Overview

Callie had just about given up on men after one failed relationship after another, the last leaving her jaded about ever finding true love. Her mother once told her she'd meet someone, feel a spark, and just know he was the one. But maybe the sparks were gone for good, and her special someone would never come along. She'd decided to focus on her work and her brothers, especially Mark, who needed her most. Gabe was grouchy and restless, stuck in a bad mood that seemed never-ending. The past year had been rough, but the months ahead promised to be even tougher if he couldn't shake his funk. He'd pushed away his family and friends, and soon there might be no one left. Vicki was born in Orange, NSW. When she was two years old her family moved to Dapto, a southern suburb of Wollongong. She was kicked out of pre-school at the age of four (for reasons that she will keep to herself). When she was sixteen she moved with her parents and two sisters (Vicki is the typically misunderstood middle child) to the ACT where, ironically she studied Child Care so she could work in a pre-school. Now, at the age of 45 she still lives in Canberra with her husband and three adult/teenage children. Vicki works full time (not in the child care industry!) and is an avid baker. She spends her time taxiing her kids around and baking cup cakes for all the kids who constantly fill the house.
