Patricia D. King, J.D., M.B.A. is a health care attorney based in the Chicago area. She has over 30 years of experience representing health care providers, including community hospitals, academic medical centers, multispecialty physician groups and provider-owned insurance entities. Pat has had a long-term interest in health information technology, including privacy and security of electronic health records, HIPAA compliance, health information exchange, and mhealth. She is a Vice Chair of the Health Information and Technology Practice Group of the American Health Lawyers Association, and a member of the Legal Task Force of HIMSS. Pat is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
