Overview

The Hip-Hop Producer's Manual teaches you to create epic hip-hop tracks - tracks that reach listeners on every level, from the sonic to the emotional. You will learn both established and progressive workflows, so you'll know when and where to add beats, melody, and effects for optimal impact with your audience. Beyond songcraft, you'll learn the secrets of developing an ear for creating mixes that sound current, that work for radio but also have enough edge for live, provocative performance. It all starts with capturing basic ideas. With your ideas in hand, you'll learn editing methods the experts use to build hip-hop (and dubstep, trap, and more) tracks that are compelling in every way-melodically, rhythmically, and sonically. Build your production chops and your confidence, with The Hip-Hop Producer's Manual.
