I finished reading The Hidden Star (twice actually). It is absolutely awesome! I have never been so blessed so many times. I am convinced that this book will encourage the faith of everyone who reads it, despite the conditions of the world today! I loved the humor, the love, the intimacy, the fear that connected the characters with us today. I am thankful that this book has defined totally our God! It is an exciting and smooth read. Tastefully presented. Overall on a 5 star review, I rate it 5. Vicki Aycock I've done a lot of editing, and this book fascinated me immediately. I loved what I was reading! Encouraged the author to publish! Terrific! Dorothy Easterly In The Hidden Star of Yehudah the Sovereign Lord deals in the everyday lives of His chosen people to bring about His divine will and purpose. He is active in all our lives. That was encouraging to me. The vivid descriptions allowed me to slip into the pages and walk the streets of Shushan, as well as the corridors of the palace. The book weaves together enough scripture, facts, fiction, suspense and just enough imagination to bring alive a beautiful story that will keep the reader intrigued and turning the pages to see what happens next. Author Information
Gale Ard's first historical fiction book, The Hidden Star of Yehudah is her most enjoyable and exciting personal project. Born in North Carolina, she and her husband now live in Mountain City, TN. She graduated from Atlantic Christian College as an educator. She has served as a pastor's wife, missionary, middle school teacher, communications director, and foster care house parent. As a free-lance book designer and illustrator, she has helped many authors get their books published.
