Leigh Calvez's interest in the natural world led her to nature writing. Her work has been published in American Nature Writing, the Ecologist, Ocean Realm, the Christian Science Monitor, the Seattle Times, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, and other publications. She currently writes for Bainbridge Island Magazine. Karen White has been narrating audiobooks since 1999, with more than two hundred to her credit.
