.THE HEM OF HIS GARMENT TRUE STORIES OF HEALING BY REV. LAWRENCE J. GESY, M. Div. M.S. True Stories of Healing. . . A woman suffering hemorrhages for twelve years came up behind him and touched the tassel on his cloak (Mt 9:20). Two thousand years ago, a woman touched the hem of Jesus' garment and was healed. Today Jesus continues to heal our physical, emotional, and spiritual wounds through the power of His love. These healings are proof of God's existence in today's broken world. Now you can share some of these remarkable accounts of modern-day miracles with The Hem of His Garment: True Stories of Healing. Filled with encouraging stories of physical, emotional, and spiritual healing, this exciting and informative book testifies to the power of faith-filled prayer. With grace and perception, author Father Lawrence Gesy, well-known expert in the Catholic Healing Ministry, outlines stories of individual healings. The scriptural and historic references in the book confirm that healing has long played a significant part in the history of the Church. Prayers for any need are located at the end of the book. Father Gesy is the founder of the Catholic Healing Ministry of Baltimore, Maryland in 1982. He also assisted in the founding of the Catholic Healing Ministry of Arlington, Virginia in 1990. Father Gesy is the primary witness of the miraculous healing of his priest friend Father Ronald Pytel. Father Pytel received the healing of a serious heart ailment through the intercession of the then Blessed Faustina Kowalska on October 5, 1995. Father Pytel's healing lead to the canonization of Saint Faustina on April 30, 2000 by Pope John Paul II at the Vatican.
