Author Information

Yeon Sang-ho is a South Korean director and screenwriter. In 2012, his first film The King of Pigs was the first South Kore-an ani-mat-ed fea-ture film to be pre-sent-ed at the Cannes Film Fes-ti-val. In 2016, he came back to Cannes with Train to Busan, a genre film pre-sent-ed dur-ing a mid-night screen-ing which would become a huge inter-na-tion-al suc-cess. A mul-ti-dis-ci-pli-nary artist, he became the genre mas-ter in South Korea with var-i-ous projects- super-hero film Psy-choki-ne-sis, hor-ror TV series The Cursed, and comics web series Hell.
