Author Information

Jennifer Abeles neither has autism herself nor does she have a child with autism. Years ago, she felt a ""calling"" to help people with autism, and she simply began to help them--one at a time--with remarkable success. She began to dream of sharing the knowledge she had stored up by creating outreach programs and empowering parents and professionals alike. She continues to fulfill her goal of """"improving the quality of life for individuals with autism, one heart at a time. Veronica Zysk, Executive Director of the Autism Society of America (1991-1996), is an award-winning author. She has worked with Temple Grandin and Sean Barron, among many others on books such as The Unwritten Rules of Social Relationships (Future Horizons, 2005) which won a Silver Award at the publishing industry’s ForeWord Magazine’s Book of the Year competition. She has also worked with Ellen Notbohm on the bestseller Ten Things Every Child With Autism Wishes You Knew (Future Horizons, 2012).
