He directs the postgraduate Diploma in Music Therapy at the University of Bristol and is the author of Music Therapy: An Art Beyond Words (1994). Sarah Hoskyns is Head of the Music Therapy Department at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. She is a former editor of the British Journal of Music Therapy, and an Approved Supervisor Advisory Council member of the Association of Professional Music Therapists.
