Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationJo Ann Asher Thompson, Ph.D., is Professor Emeritus of Interior Design at Washington State University. Thompson served as President and Chairman of the Board of the Interior Design Educators Council (IDEC) and served five years as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Interior Design. She is a recipient of the International Interior Design Association's (IIDA) Educator of the Year Award. Amongst other publications, Thompson is editor of The ASID Professional Manual (1992). Nancy Blossom is Professor of Interior Design at Washington State University and served as Director of the Interdisciplinary Design Institute and as the Director of the Doctor of Design Program. Blossom is a Fellow of the Interior Design Educators Council and served as the Council's President and Chairman of the Board. In 2010 Blossom joined other leaders in the field of Interior Design on a panel of experts in review of the Body of Knowledge (of Interior Design) project sponsored by professional organizations of the U.
