Overview

A malevolent evil lurks in the blackest recesses of the Meikai, and the Ancient Guard has set out to stop it no matter the cost. Aimon Namire returns to the Ancient Guard to investigate the threat of the Army of Shadows, but he has become plagued by dreams of a woman weeping blood and beckoning for him to find her. Returning with him is Myra Shirasega, who is beginning her path of joining the ranks of the Guardians. Across the continent, Rolan Te Gantas befriends a former Guardian after he nearly succumbs to an illness. His goal is to return back home, but obstacles on his path will nearly push him to death and challenge his worldview forever. All three, however, will face malice amongst both men and magic, and only the light will be able to vanquish the dark.
