He is Professor of Anthropology and Chair of the Department of Behavioral Sciences at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Dr. Bogin received his Ph.D. in Anthropology from Temple University in 1977. Before joining the faculty at UM-Dearborn in 1982 he was a Visiting Professor at the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala in Guatemala City and Assistant Professor at Wayne State University.
