This was an awesome series! A true cliffhanger/nail-biter for sure! There were spots in the story that seemed a bit drawn-out, but the story as a whole was very enjoyable. I found myself searching online to see if the story was pure fantasy or had an element of truth. Everything I researched showed the story to have elements of truth. This makes me wish there'd been an 8th book. I'd love to know what happens next. I won't give out any spoilers, but I will say that if you're looking for a riveting, fascinating story that gives God all the glory, this is a good one to read. Romance, adventure, action, drama, science fiction, historical, scriptural ... all the genres are represented. This book was a very good read. I have finished Prepared, the first book in the series. It left me thirsty for more! I don't like consuming books just for entertainment. I want them to expand my way of thinking as well. Otherwise they feel like a waste of time. This book was an enjoyable read with interesting well written characters. Prepared hints at a very sobering possible future, one in which God's word is literally in short supply. The series is expanding my way of thinking. I can't wait to continue on to the next book.
