Nancy was born in Hamilton and now lives in Middletown, OH. She is the author of 8 books from various genres. This is her first children's book. Nancy earned her B.S. in Secondary English and PreK-Elementary Education and her M.Ed. and Ed.D in Educational Leadership. She studied at Anderson University School of Theology and is a licensed and ordained minister in the Church of God. Nancy enjoys her family and service to the community. While illustrating this book during her sophomore and junior years in high school, she was involved in the swim team, was an accomplished horn player and leading actress. She was also a 2 time award winning artist, earning a silver medal in drawing from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards in 2024 as a sophomore and a Gold Key in mixed-media as a junior in 2025, sending her artwork to be adjudicated at the national level. She is planning to pursue a career in some form of art when attending college.
