Overview

In this book, there are two independent traditional Chinese classic works, The Great Learning and The Gold Mean. The Gold Mean was written by Confucius' grandson Kong Ji, who was also called Zi Si by others with respect. The key theory in this book is to persuade people to be tolerable, and not to become extremist; don't do anything to others if you don't like others to do the same thing to you. This book was also a must-read one for all the scholars at a high level in ancient China.
