Janet Frogley has been teaching literacy in private and alternative schools for many years. Besides writing and illustrating books for children, she has authored newspaper columns on the importance of parents encouraging and assisting their children to develop good learning skills. She enjoys sharing her books and visiting elementary classrooms as a guest speaker. Janet continues to assist children in their quest to be successful lovers of learning. She has had many adventures, including travel in much of the United States, Egypt, Israel, Japan, Greece, Turkey, and Italy. Lately, she resided for almost two years in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Burundi.
