After retiring from nursing, Katharine MacPherson attended Nova Scotia Community College's Boulanger and Baking Arts program where she graduated with honours. The Great Bake Take and Go Baking Book is the accumulation of all that Katharine's learned from working in a bakery and running a bake table at a farmers market for four years. She hopes it will encourage bakers at any skill level to achieve their dreams and have fun along the way. This is her first book.
