Most recent are Flushboy, Three Miles Past (horror novellas), and The Last Final Girl. Coming soon is Zombie Sharks with Metal Teeth. Jones has been a finalist for the Bram Stoker Award, the Shirley Jackson Award, the Black Quill Award, and his The Last Final Girl won This is Horror's Novel of the Year. Of Jones' hundred and fifty or so stories published, six or eight of them have made the best horror of the year annuals, starting in about 2007--right after the publication of his horror novel Demon Theory. Jones lives in Colorado now, and teaches in the MFA programs at both CU Boulder and UCR Palm Desert. Last year he taught for Clarion West as well.
