Overview

This book covers various strategies for developing an efficient career in the Golf Caddy Industry. As a former 18-year Caddy Veteran, I utilize the following methods to become efficient and successful. Most Golf Courses use similar strategies, but I modified them based on my understanding and experience. There is no need to change the wheel, but I will apply a unique philosophy to these basic principles. In this book, I encourage people to enter the golf Caddy industry, create a Career, or use it as a side hustle weekend or holiday job. Historically society has a negative perspective toward the Golf Caddy Industry. Most Caddies are considered Drug addicts, gamblers, and former inmates. Since Tiger Woods entered the PGA Tour in 1997, an increase in PGA Tour Prize Money has led to an increase in viewers to the game of Golf. Most of the regular season tournaments can be watched on Television. More Golfers started to join more private Golf Courses, which led to a rise in more efficient Caddy opportunities. Television shows Professional Golfers making Millions of Dollars and Caddy making 10% of the winnings. The Caddy is not just carrying the bag anymore but learning how to apply a more Holistic approach to assist the Golfers to perform to their ultimate potential. Some States offer Caddy Scholarship for well qualified caddies, who want to go to Colleges or Universities. I was fortunate to be a Caddy Scholarship alumnus.
