Overview

This book was not written to be popular. It was written to be faithful. The modern church has mastered the language of worship while quietly abandoning the fear of the Lord. We sing loudly, preach smoothly, and gather frequently- yet too often, the heart of God is absent from the sanctuary. Like Israel in the wilderness, we have grown impatient with waiting on God. And in our impatience, we have fashioned substitutes. Not golden calves of metal- but idols of money, influence, nationalism, celebrity, comfort, numbers, and power. We have placed them near the altar, blessed them in God's name, and called it progress. This book is a prophetic exposure of that reality. What you are about to read is not theory, opinion, or cultural critique. It is a biblical confrontation rooted in Scripture, guided by discernment, and compelled by obedience. I write as one who loves the Church deeply- but loves truth more. Silence is no longer an option. Accommodation is no longer mercy. And repentance can no longer be postponed.
