Overview

William is a book dealer from Greenwich Village. Lydia is an agent for an otherworldly organization. Together they must match wits and do battle with sinister forces seeking to destroy ...The God List, an inventory of secret masterpieces created by geniuses the world over in celebration of the creative Spirit. It doesn't help that scholars disagree on the List's origins, or even if it exists at all. Lydia and William travel to Europe to find the worlds greatest expert on the subject and, with his help, defend and protect what some believe to be the cradle of human creativity.

Steve Niles is a writer, best known for works such as 30 Days of Night, October Faction, Criminal Macabre, Simon Dark, Frankenstein Alive! Alive! and Batman: Gotham County Line. The success of 30 Days of Night sparked renewed interest in the comic horror genre after it was released as a major motion picture in 2007. His ongoing comic series, The October Faction, was made into a Netlix TV show in 2020. Steve got his start in the comic industry when he formed his own publishing company, Arcane Comix, where he published, edited and adapted several comics and anthologies, including works by Clive Barker, Richard Matheson and Harlan Ellison. Steve resides outside Los Angeles with his wife, Monica, four dogs, three cats and Gil the tortoise. Scott Hampton is an American comic book artist known for his painted work. Scott's work on Silverheels from Pacific Comics in 1983 is regarded as the first continuing painted comic of US origin. His work includes illustrations for Batman, Sandman, Black Widow, Hellraiser, and Star Trek, as well as Magic: The Gathering cards. Hampton has recently completed his work on American Gods for Dark Horse. His art also appears in the six-part documentary Inexplicable: How Christianity spread to the ends of the earth. Jennifer Lange is an Intellectual Property attorney, writer, metalsmith, and colorist for comics and graphic novels. In addition to her work on The God List, she collaborated with artist Scott Hampton (along with P. Craig Russell) on the Eisner award winning graphic novel adaptation of Neil Gaiman's American Gods (Dark Horse Comics). You can find her color work in the graphic novel Black Sparrow (Storm King), written by Steve Niles and Jay Russell, Holy Diver (Z2 Comics/Simon & Schuster), also written by Steve Niles, and the comic Rage (PaperFilms), written by Jimmy Palmiotti.
