B.W. Luby grew up under the shadow of Mt. Rainer and along the Puget Sound before moving with his family to the prairie of Oklahoma. At 18, he started his indie publishing house, Foxling Studios, and published his first book and its soundtrack at 19. Lorraine Luby grew up in the Puget Sound before finding her way to the grasslands of Oklahoma. At the age of 15, she became a professional illustrator.
