The Ghostly Tales of North Central Texas is her first children's book, a companion to her book, Haunted North Central Texas. Her passion for writing began in third grade when she entered a writing contest (spoiler alert: she lost). Teresa went on to write over fifty articles for children's magazines, including Highlights for Children. With five books under her belt, she has already made a name for herself in the writing world. However, writing for a younger audience is a dream come true. Teresa works as a nurse during the day and becomes a paranormal detective at night, researching and investigating haunted locations. Although she didn't win, that contest in the third grade sparked a lifelong love for writing. This proves that some things--like stories and spooky spirits--endure forever.
