About the Author Lisa Tanner grew up in a small farm town in Illinois, and now lives in Arizona with her husband, their son, and their rescue pup, Skylar. Lisa loves spending as much time as possible with family and friends and loves to travel back to Illinois often to spend time with family and childhood friends. While growing up in Illinois, Lisa and her family lived in a small, wooded area where she and her brother often went exploring. They once came across an old, abandoned cabin and thought it looked very scary.
