Overview

Like most students at Kingshill Middle School, Connor is obsessed with the smash hit TV Show ‘Para-Norman’. It follows Norman, a Ghost hunter who spends his time chasing ghosts. So naturally when a ghostly rumour starts to circulate around their school’s very old building, Connor can’t resist persuading his four best friends to break into the school. In a crazy attempt to see if the rumour is true, they have a sleep over at the school! Wandering the spooky halls of the school in the dead of night should have been an adventure for Connor and his friends...however, what they learn in school that night...are some terrifying truths! Robert Valentine lives in Northampton and writes and illustrates short, motivational stories that he posts on social media. He is passionate about positive mental health and uses his illustrations to help inspire and bring a smile to people’s faces all around the world. Having grown up watching Scooby Doo, Robert decided he had to write a ghost story aimed at children in the middle grade. The Ghost of Kingshill Middle School is his first novel.
