Although Emily Opal didn't know writing books was in her future, she'd prepared for the eventuality her whole life. She's narrated more than 280 audiobooks for Penguin Random House, Harper, Podium, Tantor, Audible, and other publishers. She's coauthor of the Magic of Larlion fantasy series by her mom, Dee Maltby, plays a mean game of softball, and is a die-hard Cleveland baseball fan.
