As a child, Lenny assisting in the rearing of his developmentally disabled younger brother, Mark, and as an adult, he and his wife, Barbara, raised his oldest son, Benjamin, who is challenged with autism, and his youngest son, Gregory, who has a rare condition known as Moyamoya syndrome a condition which caused Gregory to suffer numerous strokes. Len serves on the board of directors for Casa, Inc., a not-for-profit providing loving homes to those with developmental disabilities and has served, throughout his career, on the boards of numerous other not-for-profits serving the developmental disabilities community. This memoir, The Gems of Inverness, is his first published book. Len Gulino is a former litigation and trial attorney who has turned his communication skills to writing and public speaking.
