The Garland Ball is coming, and Prince Charming is nowhere to be found. Cinderella couldn't care less... But things can change. In this light-hearted holiday tale set in the small fictional town of Connors Falls, Pennsylvania, Cindy Michaels finds herself unexpectedly in charge of resurrecting the defunct Garland Ball. Add to that the stress of running her own business, Cinderella Silks, and the fact the committee has decided no one should attend the ball without a date, Cindy's usual joy over her favorite time of year is waning. Sure, she understands not going solo brings in more money for the charity the ball benefits, but for some reason her best friend is insisting Cindy just buying a second ticket doesn't send out a proper message. In their efforts to be helpful, friends and family set her up for pre-ball dates with disastrous results, giving her good cause to consider taking her cat in his own special tux. Does a Prince exist for this independent Cinderella? Each novel and novella in the series is a standalone story, connected by a fictional small town called Connor Falls and the holiday season. They are stories filled with family relationships, friendships lost and found, loves old and new, and, of course, seasonal magic. There's no need to read the stories in order. New characters will intermingle with characters from other books, without spoilers.
