Kim Freetly was born in Santa Barbara, California and grew up in the Ojai Valley nearby. She began writing poetry and short stories at a very young age, and has spent her life writing for her children, friends, local publications, projects, and a blog. Kim has lived in Florida, where she raised her family, worked in the travel industry, traveled to approximately 30 countries and began her love affair with world history and religions. She has since embarked on a second career, as a Sports Massage Therapist, and currently works with professional sports teams and athletes in Southern California. She now lives in both Ventura California and Sedona Arizona. And she's traveling again.
