Alan Rogers is a professional journalist currently working for Ulster Herald. He was editor of the Tyrone Gaelic Games Annual for several years in the 1990s and has written a number of books including Down from the Cross: A history of the GAA in Beragh, Forever Young on the Fields of Moy: A history of the GAA in Moy, and a biography of the former GAA President, Paddy MacFlynn.
