A scholar of medieval Muslim political and legal thought, he is the author of Ghazali's Politics in Context (2013). Lejla Demiri is Professor of Islamic Doctrine at the Centre for Islamic Theology, Eberhard Karls Universität, Tübingen. Her research explores Muslim-Christian theological encounters.
