This funny educational fictitious story is based on the famous novel called THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL and written by Baroness Emma Orczy which was published in 1905.The story is set during the early stages of the reign of terror following the start of the FRENCH REVOLUTION in 1792 and portrays an aristocrat by the name of SIR PERCY PLONKER a formidable swordsman who leads a very funny double life, risking his own life to rescue French and British aristocrats before they are executed on the guillotine in France. This is another very funny book in the series not to be missed.
