Author Information

Ravi's money management story started in 1992. As an immigrant to Canada with $5 in his pocket, he became a financial advisor at Berkshire Securities (now Manulife Securities), and was one of their top producers. Through his solo practice eventually managed investments for over 300 clients. After 21 years, he decided to start his firm, Sodhi Asset Management Inc. - SAMI Canada. Today, he is a Portfolio Manager and the President at SAMI Canada. He has accumulated over 24 years of experience in the investment industry, advising and helping Canadian families to find peace and financial security for the future. Ravi attributes his success to learning from legends including Warren Buffet, Charlie Munger, and Benjamin Graham. He cultured himself to prefer Growth at a Reasonable Price companies and believe that the best returns will come from high-growth companies that sell well below their intrinsic values. He is proud of his ethical reputation and spotless compliance record in which he always places his clients first and serves them with excellence. Ravi has recently obtained his Global Professional Masters of Law from the University of Toronto. He is also a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute and holds the CFP and CIM designations.
