Overview

In an unexpected and delightful twist on a classic fairy tale, The Friendly Troll: A Tale Retold takes young readers on an unanticipated journey. Bubba, Pogo and Maxi, the three billy goats, anxiously plan to get to the lush meadow on the other side of a bridge, but they encounter a rather large and intimidating troll named Gruff. Filled with charming illustrations and a heartwarming message, The Friendly Troll will grab young readers and remind them that not everything is as it seems, especially when it comes to making new friends. Author Information

Keith Barrett is an attorney and entrepreneur. After the birth of his son in 2003, Keith felt called to write a children's book and reimagined the tale of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. However, as is often the case, life gets in the way. Some twenty years later, Keith is thrilled to finally see his idea come to life in an adaptation of this well-known story that is sure to inspire children with a message of understanding and inclusivity. Keith also hopes to inspire those who have put off projects or ideas to take action and realize their vision-it is never too late.
