OverviewThis is the story of Portsmouth supporter Lee Freeman and his nightmare trip to watch England play at the European Championships in France. Told with a lot of humour Lee describes what was supposed to be a great time away with a group of friends instead the entire trip went from bad to worse from the moment they landed. Lee writes about how one of his friends was chased by a knife weilding Marseille Ultra within two hours of landing in France. Russian Ultras, cowardly and incompetent French police, lost passports, missed flights, toothless prostitutes, being tear gassed when he was caught up in the rioting at the port and witnessing the attacks on the England fans at the Stade Velodrome. These are just some of the events that happened over the space of a few short days in Marseille.
