Overview

This book, show on two volumes, 151 colour plates of the French infantry before 1789 and other 11 plates always realized by the same artist: Felix Philippoteaux. All this plates derived from an our copy of the book ""Atlas de l'Histoire de l'ancienne infanterie française"" Paris, J. Corréard, 1853. All the images has been restored by human beings, page by page, so that you may enjoy it in a form as close to the original as possible. On this first volume are present about 80 colour plates and a short history about the Ancien Régime, his army and his campaigns.
