The Four Vampire Kings: The Vampires' Love Story Volume 1

Overview

What the fuck is going on here? This isn't happening and there is no fucking way you are telling me the truth. I need to gather more information, do more research, and understand what is really happening to us all. As I walk through the forest, I start to feel cold and sense that someone may be watching me. I increase my pace and continue thinking about recent events. My mind still struggles to accept what occurred at the castle. Knowing that there are individuals in the world who are different from humans complicates the situation. While moving swiftly through the unfamiliar forest, I realize I have crossed water but decide not to stop. Despite this, I am unable to determine if my feet are wet due to numbness or other factors. Regardless, my priority is to find a way out of here and return to my family, after which I will come back for my two best friends and younger sister. It is essential to regroup as they may face challenges without my assistance. Processing the recent experiences is difficult, and my mind resists understanding the full implications. Accepting this knowledge could potentially endanger us, especially my younger sister and friends. As I scan the forest, I notice the outline of a structure that is a cabin. I proceed towards it and discover that it is indeed a cabin. To better understand the current situation, I must collect more information. As I navigate through the forest, a chill sets in, and I get the eerie feeling that I'm being watched. Quickening my pace, I replay the recent events in my mind, still struggling to come to terms with what happened at the castle. The existence of beings different from humans complicates matter further. Moving briskly through the unfamiliar terrain, I notice I've crossed a body of water but choose not to stop. I can't even tell if my feet are wet, due to numbness or other reasons. My main goal now is to find an escape route and reunite with my family. Afterward, I'll return to help my two best friends and younger sister, who might encounter difficulties without my support. The recent turn of events is overwhelming, and my mind resists grasping the full extent. Fully accepting this reality could put us all at risk, particularly my younger sister and friends. As I survey the surroundings, I spot the silhouette of a structure resembling a cabin. Approaching it, I confirm that it is indeed a cabin. I noticed that it had started to rain, and the downpour intensified as I approached the cabin. I checked the door handle to see if it was locked. To my surprise, the doorknob turned without any issues. I opened the door cautiously and peeked inside to check if anyone was present. Seeing no one, I took careful steps into the cabin toward a couch against the south-facing wall. I refrained from using any magical abilities in case someone was watching. In the dark, I felt around for a wall to find a light switch. Meanwhile, the wind outside picked up, and the howling grew louder as heavy rain began pelting the windows. It felt as though we were in the midst of a tornado. Eventually, I located a light switch near a small island in the kitchen. The newer appliances indicated that the cabin belonged to someone with financial means. With the lights on, I could see the high-end furnishings: a couch, love seat, coffee table, and end tables. Recognizing luxurious items was second nature to me, given my affluent background, although I am not particularly shallow. My parents are focused on appearances and status, which contrasts with my values and those of my younger sister. We prioritize friendship, love, trust, loyalty, and bonds with others-qualities that cannot be replaced or bought but can be earned.
