Overview

Adventure, excitement, terrifying beasts and shadows lurking behind the trees, this is not how the four Headdy children would've described their home, farm, and nearby town before their great adventure. The countryside and area near Stinesville, Indiana in the late 1940's was usually quiet and peaceful, but the four oldest Headdy siblings would soon find out that their world was bigger, more beautiful, and more terrifying than they ever knew. The idea to walk the backroads to their small town at night sounded like a great idea, a great adventure that they could brag about to their friends come next school year. However, their journey, although beautiful and breathtaking at times, also turned eerie and terrifying! They thought they were strong, physically and mentally, from the hard work of life on their families farm but that would be tested beyond what they imagined! An outing to see what their historic town of Stinesville and their school would look like at night turned out to be a night of survival from man and beast. Would this adventure be the first of many or the last one ever?
