OverviewThe Forgotten Christmas Tree is a heartwarming holiday story about a group of Christmas trees waiting inside a tree tent to be chosen and taken home for Christmas. Each tree has a distinct personality. Some, like Connie, are proud and obsessed with being chosen by wealthy families. Others, like Sugar Pi, are kind-hearted and dream of bringing joy to children. The trees are sorted into sections based on ""quality,"" and being placed in the top section (Section A) is considered the highest honor. As Christmas approaches, the wealthiest family selects the regal Windsor tree from the International Section. Meanwhile, a poor couple enters the tent hoping to afford a tree for their children. When they realize they cannot afford one, Sugar Pi makes a selfless decision -- she breaks off her own branches so she will be marked down and affordable. She chooses love and generosity over prestige, becoming the family's Christmas miracle. As the tent prepares to close on Christmas Eve, three unsold trees remain: Wey Mouth, Bristle Cone, and Little Pinion. They fear ending up on ""The Pile,"" where unwanted trees are discarded. But just when hope seems lost, a kind carpenter named Mr. Carver arrives. Instead of using them as Christmas trees, he transforms them into something lasting: Wey becomes a beautiful jewelry box, treasured for generations. Bristle Cone becomes a rocking chair where stories will be shared. Little Pinion becomes a wooden airplane for a disabled boy who dreams of flying -- helping carry his dreams beyond his limitations.
