He is the former editor of both Old Tractor and Vintage Tractor & Countryside Heritage magazines, and is currently the editor of the David Brown Tractor Club's Tractor News. Devoting much of his time to historical research, Stuart has met and talked with many of the world's leading tractor designers and engineers, and has amassed a substantial reference library and photo archive. He also has a keen interest in early tractor literature, which he has developed into a mail order business run in partnership with his wife, Sue.
