"5.0 out of 5 stars informative book for those interested in foraging and living off the land this is a brilliant book clear concise pictures for identification of plants, love that this tells you when the plant is available that is such a fantastic help to a newby and i love that the plants are not repetative from the other book. i love that it shows what plants maybe misidentified with this really aids in the learning process for me. i look forward to future works and hope there will be love what this young family do and love that i can join their journey on you tube and follow the recipes they put on there too . 5.0 out of 5 stars Great for foraging beginners! 🌱🤩 Excellent!! If you want information on the medical properties and history of wild, edible and medicinal plants and trees then you need the wonderful companion book to this one. This book is the foraging calendar and field guide and I'm seriously impressed as in identification terms it is one of the clearest guides I have seen. There are masses of photos of different parts of the plants at different times of the year and you can tell that they actually ""live"" with the plants in that they describe how they feel and smell as well, it's not just dusty book research. There is often a fear of picking the wrong thing when you start foraging, this book takes the fear away! Find them on YouTube and social media as well as they're a really lovely family 😊 5.0 out of 5 stars Simply the best! Dane and Stella do it again! Another brilliant foraging book, these two really have taken foraging books to the next level. The calendar is brilliant especially with the addition of the harvest bars. Iv never seen a calendar like it. Beautiful photos for Identification and page after page of edible plants, trees and fungi. I can't recommend this book enough generations of knowledge for your pocket. If the shtf this book would be the one handed our with rations no doubt about it. After buying the paperback iv now treated myself to the hardback I now feel totally reassured that I have all the knowledge of the UK's wild food sitting on my shelf. Hats off to you two I look forward to any more books for this series!"
