The Fluoride Deception

Overview

This is a disturbing and alarming expose of the very real threat the fluoridation of water poses - now in paperback. Throughout the 50s and 60s, fluoride was added to the water supply in the US and UK and, since 1964, much of the Republic of Ireland has been fluoridated. The improvement in dental health during this time served as incontestable proof that fluoride was working, and little thought was given to the possible harm it might be causing. Bryson's investigative probing has unearthed some disturbing evidence, linking fluoride with many modern diseases, such as Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Alzheimer's, Bone Cancer and Emphysema, as well as with a general lowering of IQ levels, and the inhibition of thyroid activity, which can result in rapid weight gain: a political hot potato given the current debate raging about Labour's policy towards obesity.

Reviews

Considering that the Labour government is keen to fluoridate the whole of our water supply in the very near future, this startling and terrifying book is... an essential document that should also act as a call to arms. - The Ecologist (May 04, Book of the Month) Christopher Bryson is an excellent narrator, and he reports on recent research previously not known to me... It is my sincere hope that his book will receive the attention it deserves and that its implications will be seriously considered. - Dr. Arvid Carlsson, 2000 Nobel Prize Laureate for Medicine
