Kara Voorhees Reynolds is a watercolourist with a penchant for mermaids, octopuses, sea turtles, and the aquatic in general. She uses vibrant colors and rich, granulating textures and patterns to communicate the magical flow and the abstract glory of the ocean. Her work has taken her to other parts of the world such as Greece and France, but she finds much inspiration from the state she calls home.
