Author Information

Shenandoah Squatch is a children's book author from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Inspired by cryptid legends and outdoor activities, Squatch writes storybook rhymes that spark imagination and wonder in young readers. When not writing, you'll find him on his boards floating on beaches, shredding forest trails, or dreaming up his next big tale. Helena Crevel is an illustrator born in Ukraine and currently working from her studio in Paris, France. From the tiniest insects to the grandest of beasts, Helena has a special passion for bringing all types of creatures to the pages of children's' stories. Her love for nature and storytelling through art was inspired by a rich background of folktales that surrounded Helena from an early age. After being expelled from an art school at an early age for adding cartoon faces to her realistic animal anatomy drawings, she didn't give up and continued her art lessons with a private tutor and artist after moving to Canada in her teenage years. Now, living in the city of light, she continues her adventure and shares her passion with children, while teaching art and working on illustrating stories.
