Author Information

Richard Sullivan's broad range of life experience as well as his diverse interests is reflected in the variety of his published books: two award-winning Hawaii guidebooks, an Oahu eBook, three novels, a fitness book and a how-to book on the subject of genealogy. He lives in a little house with the wild Pacific hurtling boulders through the air at him on the front side and an erupting volcano at the back. He claims he got more out of high school than he ever did university. He likes people well enough but prefers dogs. To keep things in perspective he likes to read the one- and two-star readers' reviews on Amazon.com for classics like Gone With The Wind, To Kill A Mockingbird, and Tom Sawyer. In his early life he was nearly killed multiple times, and thus considers every day following his 30th birthday a gift. Although having lived in Hollywood for 35 years and being related to Gregory Peck, the desire for celebrity never blossomed within him, but even more improbable, he has never slept with anyone famous.
